UNB Safe 1.8

UNB Safe is the official safety app of the University of New Brunswick. It integrates with the university's safety and security systems to provide students, faculty and staff with added safety on campus, delivering important safety alerts and quick access to campus safety resources.

• Emergency Contacts: Directs users to the appropriate services for emergencies or non-emergency concerns on the University of New Brunswick campus.
• Friend Walk: Send your location to a friend via email or SMS; once the friend accepts the request, you can designate a destination and your friend's device can track your location in real time.
• Report a Tip: Multiple ways to report a safety or security concern directly to University of New Brunswick security.
• Mobile Bluelight: Send your location to University of New Brunswick security in real time during a crisis.
• Safety Toolbox: Provides a set of safety tools within a single app.
• Virtual WalkHome: Campus Security can monitor a user's walk; users can request a Virtual WalkHome and a dispatcher will monitor the journey until they reach their destination.
• Emergency Procedures: Campus emergency documentation that can prepare you for disasters or emergencies and is accessible even without Wi‑Fi or cellular data.
